A stay at home factor, friendly people who are always available to help for anything that is required.
Ease to connect to any part of the city, quite a few popular restaurants & Cuisines around. Cleanliness and comfort a rare combination is surely something to feel good about. A definite recommendation for a complete family stay and professional visit.
Stayed here for a week when I first moved to Bangalore. The location, right off 80 foot road in Koramanagala, is excellent and even better now that there is a new mall two blocks away.
Considering the alternatives, I would recommend D'Habitat to anyone coming to Bangalore on business for a week or so.
The title of my review says it all. Very competent, courteous, efficient, and reliable service from the hotel staff.
Very nice apartments, with individually air conditioned bedrooms, nice living/dinning room, clean bathroom with western-style flush and electric water heater, and kitchen with gas stove and refrigerator (utensils provided, but ask for a fuller set, if needed).
It is a pleasure to interact with the manager (Girish). Very good WiFi Internet connection. Excellent car-and-driver service provided by the hotel at a very reasonable cost. Excellent and reliable airport pick-up and drop-off service at very reasonable cost (highly recommended).
Guard on duty 24 hours of the day, seven days of the week. It is not a hostel for backpackers. If you are a relatively well-to-do person on a business or pleasure trip, alone or with family, this is an excellent serviced apartment hotel, in a very nice residential area of Koramangala. Very good restaurants and shops within 5-10 minutes walking distance, and the excellent Koramangal Mall is about 20-30 minutes walk from the hotel (or take an autorickshaw there). Overall, this hotel is an excellent value.
I have stayed at this hotel on my last two trips to Bangalore, ad plan to stay there again on my next trip to this city.
YPick-up @ airport, spacious rooms with a/c, breakfast delivered to your room (with the option for them to make it or yourself), clean and tastefully decorated rooms make this a nice experience for families or groups! Staff was always friendly, clean and helpful. About a 30-45 min. drive from airport.
I was looking for a place to stay in Koramangala and discovered D'Habitat here on tripadvisor. My daughter lives around the corner and gave it thumbs up after doing a walk by and the reviews all seemed pretty positive so I booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 3 nights in December.
A few days before my arrival I sent an email asking to arrange transportation from the airport to the hotel for 4 people. Minivan confirmed and driver holding a sign to meet us right on schedule. The drive took about 45 minutes and cost us 3,000r. After a very long journey to get to India the cost was worth the convenience.
We arrived at the hotel around 11am. The manager and staff gave us a warm greeting. It turned out our room wouldn't be ready until later that day so they offered us a room at their sister property (Premium Serviced Apartments) a block away. We walked over to take a look and while the exterior wasn't as nice, the apartment unit they offered us was satisfactory and we were ready kick off our shoes so we agreed to stay 1 night and then change to D'Habitat for the next 2 nights which is how it played out.
Our experience overall was very positive- the manager and staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. The apartment property felt very safe and secure. It's a surprisingly quiet neighborhood. The breakfast options and service were quite good. The beds were comfortable, furnishing and fixtures all worked. The place was clean enough and well looked after. The photos are accurate.
There was however one major hiccup with our experience- When it came time to leave we asked the hotel to arrange transportation for us back to BLR which they agreed to do. The next morning the driver was there to take us to the airport and this is where things got very interesting as it became apparent after about 10 minutes that our driver didn't have any idea where the airport was! At every stoplight he would lean across the open window asking rickshaw drivers, other cabs and back at us asking "aeroporta? aeroporta?" There are obviously lots of drivers that know the way or at least follow GPS so how did we manage to get this guy? When I could follow the road signs and he couldn't I knew we were in trouble! We made it eventually- I'm not sure who was more relieved us or the driver when we finally arrived. It's easy to laugh about it now but it could have been a huge inconvenience had we missed our flights and it cast a shadow on what had otherwise been a very positive experience.
Stayed December 2016, travelled with family
My wife and I ended up at the D Habitat when our friends failed to meet us at the airport and had to take a private taxi. Since we checked in late night, only the security and the room boys were there to receive us. We found very difficult to communicate with them but upon checking in we were pleased to find a well furnished air conditioned room, TV with CNN channel. We found the proximity of the apartment to near by malls - Oasis and The forum a pleasant situation.
Yet another trip to Bangalore.....this time it was even better, new airport, express way, nice, landed early hour's at D-Habitat on 04th May, Girish (Manager) was waiting to receive me, staff remembered me being there last year with family, it was a hearty welcome, but this time it was me alone......found bit changes taken place, new furnitures, paintings and some new staff's as well, the property is very clean and tidy , the service standard is very good tried Indian cuisine at the near by restaurants, oh boy it was delicious (bit spicy tooooooooooo). Had no problem during my stay at D-Habitat, felt like Home away from Home.
